For the 2025/26 season, Himalayan Adventure International Treks has set fixed departure dates for group treks. Joining a group trek is a cost-effective way to experience Api Himal while sharing the journey with like-minded adventurers.

The overall cost of the Api Himal Trek depends on several factors, including group size, trekking duration, level of service, and extra expenses such as personal porter services. Below is a general breakdown:

Couple Trek (Two Travelers): Starts from USD 2,500 per person
Restricted Area Permit: USD 90 per person (first week), USD 15 per additional day

Since Api Himal is in a remote region, transportation costs are higher compared to treks in the Annapurna or Everest region.

Gokuleshwor to Trek Start Point (Local Jeep): USD 100 per vehicle

Accommodation: USD 10 to 15 per night (basic teahouses or camping)

The best time for the Api Himal Trek is:
Spring (March to May) – Clear skies, blooming rhododendrons, and moderate temperatures.
Autumn (September to November) – Stable weather, excellent visibility, and ideal trekking conditions.
As the Api Himal trek reaches high altitudes, trekkers should be aware of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).
Acclimatize properly by taking rest days.
Stay hydrated and avoid alcohol.
Ascend gradually and avoid overexertion.
Carry AMS medication (consult a doctor before use).
