For the 2025/26 season, Himalayan Adventure International Treks has set fixed departure dates for group treks. Joining a group trek is a cost-effective way to experience Api Himal while sharing the journey with like-minded adventurers.

The overall cost of the Api Himal Trek depends on several factors, including group size, trekking duration, level of service, and extra expenses such as personal porter services. Below is a general breakdown:

Private & Couple Trek Cost

  • Private Trek (Solo Traveler): Starts from USD 2,800

  • Couple Trek (Two Travelers): Starts from USD 2,500 per person

Permit Costs for Api Himal Trek

  • Restricted Area Permit: USD 90 per person (first week), USD 15 per additional day

  • Nepal Entry Visa: The fee for the Nepal entry visa ($40 for a duration of 60 days) is not included. However, it can be easily obtained upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu.

  • Disembarkation Airport Tax: Approximate cost of $24 for disembarkation airport tax in Nepal is not included.

  • High-Risk Medical Insurance: We recommend obtaining high-risk medical insurance separately to cover any unforeseen medical emergencies during the trek.

  • Entrance Fees: Entrance fees for sightseeing tours in Kathmandu valley are not included in the package.
