I recently joined a Kathmandu heritage tour with Himalayan Adventure Intl Treks and it was truly unforgettable. The journey began at Pashupatinath Temple, where the spiritual atmosphere along the Bagmati River was deeply moving. Next we visited Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, where the panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley was breathtaking. The peaceful prayer wheels and colorful flags made the visit even more special.
Exploring Kathmandu Durbar Square felt like walking through living history, surrounded by ancient palaces, temples, and incredible Newari architecture. Finally we arrived at Boudhanath Stupa, one of the most serene places I have ever visited. Watching monks and pilgrims circle the massive white dome at sunset was magical.
