Are you seeking the ultimate mountaineering challenge? Do you dream of conquering a towering peak, preparing yourself for the grandeur of Everest, or perhaps yearn for the allure of a less crowded, yet equally exhilarating ascent? Look no further than Annapurna IV, standing majestically at 7527 meters above sea level.

Nestled within the renowned Annapurna massif range, Annapurna IV presents a tantalizing proposition for climbers seeking a blend of adventure and safety. Positioned between the formidable Annapurna II and Annapurna III, this peak offers a semi-technical climb with fewer objective hazards compared to its counterparts.

At Himalayan Adventure Intl Treks, we recognize the allure of lesser-known peaks and the desire for a more intimate climbing experience. Annapurna IV beckons with its awe-inspiring vistas, steep yet manageable rocky ascents, and captivating ridge sections. Unlike its more frequented neighbors, Annapurna IV boasts a tranquil atmosphere, allowing climbers to immerse themselves fully in the journey.

During our expedition, we establish 3 to 4 higher camps along a route designed to maximize safety and enjoyment. Our experienced Sherpa team takes charge of fixing lines to the summit under favorable weather conditions, ensuring a secure ascent. Additionally, personal supplemental oxygen is provided to each team member, enhancing comfort and performance during the final push to the summit.

To join our expedition, climbers are encouraged to meet specific prerequisites, including prior experience on similar semi-technical peaks such as Lobuche East, Island Peak, or Aconcagua. These requirements ensure that participants are adequately prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.

While Annapurna IV presents a formidable test of skill and endurance, its rewards are commensurate with the effort expended. Graded at AD+/4, the climb encompasses technical sections, glacier routes, and exposed ridges, honing climbers' abilities and preparing them for future endeavors, including Everest and other 8000-meter peaks.

Annapurna IV's rich history, dating back to its first ascent in 1955 by a German expedition, adds to its mystique and allure. Our expedition highlights the rarity of this 7500-meter peak, offering climbers a unique opportunity to test their mettle in a pristine Himalayan setting.

Join us as we relive the success of our 2023 Fall AIV expedition, where three out of four climbers reached the summit, a testament to our commitment to safety and support. With a 1:1 climbing support ratio, personal supplemental oxygen, and strategic camp setup including heated dining and solo tents at base camp, we ensure that every aspect of your journey is meticulously planned and executed.

At Himalayan Adventure Intl Treks, we invite you to elevate your mountaineering aspirations and embark on an unforgettable journey to Annapurna IV. With our strong and experienced climbing Sherpa team by your side, the summit is within reach, and the adventure of a lifetime awaits.
